I consider myself a modern girl with a touch of tradition about me. I recently quit my corporate career to become a full time mom. My interest in cooking developed after I quit my job and had lots of time at hand. Also, I had shifted to the US for a short while and the culinary exposure (along with the time) I had there was immense. This developed my interest to explore different cuisines, albeit all vegetarian, and a bit of eggetarian.

In this blog,you can find recipes that vary from age old traditional ones passed down in a family, to the new and innovative ones which cut across cultures and countries. You will find that these recipes use ingredients that is mostly available in everyone's kitchen and I will try to put up pictures with every entry for a visual reference. I also appreciate and welcome everyone to add their own variations, which is what gives a dish an versatility that makes it all the more interesting :-)!
